A new “new normal”.

We go through our lives largely on autopilot, running on the programs and beliefs of our subconscious. 

According to brain science research, we spend only about 5% of our days thinking from our conscious mind. the other 95% of the time we are running on or subconscious programs, largely sleepwalking through our days. 

But in every life we get “wake up calls”- often in the form of a loss or tragedy. and we are forced to examine our lives and question our choices and decisions. 

Events such as the loss of a loved one, a diagnosis of illness or being let go from job shake us out of our daily patterns and we experience what we commonly refer to as 

A new normal. 

Many times these tragic external events wake us up and spur us to take positive action - we take the event as an invitation to finally start living the lives we want- follow a new career path, go back to school, commit to a healthy lifestyle.

And we begin to experience our lives as a New Normal. 

But what if we didn’t need a wake up call to experience a new normal? what if we didn’t need loss or tragedy to shake up our lives for us to become conscious of our old patterns and beliefs? 

We have the power within us to be the catalyst for our own wake up call. We can start living a New Normal now.

We can change our programs, our stories, our lives and create a new normal. 

You have a choice. You get to do the work of becoming conscious. 

Journal.

Meditate.

Breathe.

Question. 

Create. 

We can learn and grow in the wake of tragedy and loss or we can choose to learn and grow in a state of consciousness and awareness. 

Our new normal awaits us and we get to choose the path.
