Are you pushing it away?
If you are pushing for it to happen, you are pushing it away.
When we make a decision to change something in our lives we often are excited and start to make a plan of action.
While action is necessary of course, there is such a thing as trying too hard. When you are desperate for something to happen, you create an energy around it that pushes it away.
It can be helpful to practice what is called the law of detachment- the metaphysical law that states there is power in keeping our intention on our goal while at thjjje same time releasing our attachment to the outcome.
Detachment is not disinterest- it is possible to practice detachment and still be very determined to succeed. Detachment can actually free up energy we need to work towards our goals.
Any salesperson can tell you about the power of the law of detachment- when they are desperate to make a sale they can’t seem to catch a break but when they relax a bit and let go of the outcome- orders flow in!
This works because when we become too attached to the outcome we are actually coming from a place of fear that it might not happen.
Detachment gives us freedom from living in our subconscious beliefs and programs-the known of how we make things happen. if we are willing to trust in the unknown a bit we get out of our program and see new possibilities for action.
Make the decision to detach from the outcome.
There is power in letting go.
